Wisdom Circles and Events
13 Grandmother’s Circle
This beautiful teaching has been passed down to young Indigenous women for centuries. It is shared with them during their first year of womanhood to honor their greatness and highlight their power, in contrast to the warrior way of men. This teaching represents the most beautiful aspects of women and embodies the divine feminine principle. The Thirteen Grandmothers, revered as wise elders and legends of life, are part of the gifts that each mother shares with humankind to inspire and guide women.
